This small and incomplete building of bluestone with freestone dressings was designed by Lloyd Tayler and built in 1863. The largest and most complete Norman style church in Victoria, built in 1862-4 to the design of the Ballarat architect C D Cuthbert. The porch and vestry were added in 1873, the tower and spire (which are not Norman) in 1882-4, the decorations at the entrance in 1884, the transepts in 1890 and the choir vestry in 1926. A bluestone Gothic church erected in 1861 to the design of Nathaniel Billing, with the addition of transepts and vestibule in 1908 and spire in 1936. A church built in 1863 to the design of Charles Webb, with what is possibly the most elaborate stuccoed Gothic facade in Victoria. A two manual organ of 23 speaking stops built in 1891 by Fincham & Hobday, Richmond, at a cost of 895 pounds.
